Description:

We are looking for Senior Instructional Designers (IDs) with a prominent aptitude for creating learning materials that illustrate product feature information in easily understandable and interest-evoking modes. The ID must precisely analyze audiences to tailor learning experiences and render courseware. Technical writing skills, computer science background, and experience in developing marketing content such as white papers, brochures, newsletters, and demo scripts are added advantages. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to determine training requirements and audience.
  • Conduct effective interviews with SMEs to gather appropriate information, so that accurate data is conveyed in training materials.
  • Apply instructional design theories, practices, and methods.
  • Structure and develop engrossing courseware and learning content, such as PowerPoint presentations, for instructor-led training (ILTs) and self-learning programs.
  • Create effective and appealing learning articles with pertinent infographics and learning activities.
  • Create e-learning storyboards and content for e-learning courses (WBTs).
  • Design, develop, and continually enhance assessment instruments for learner evaluation.
  • Work with other instructional designers, technical writers, trainers, and reviewers to refine content.
  • Author procedural information for user guides, quick start guides (QSGs), and other technical documentation.
  • Obtain collaborative approval of all evolved content by SMEs and key contributors on cross-functional teams.
  • Facilitate training programs.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in analyzing, designing, and developing high-quality courseware and learning content.
  • Proficient in learning theories, instructional design models, such as ADDIE, and writing standards, such as MSTP.
  • Lesson and curriculum designing skills.
  • Good eye for detail, design, and typography, and strong visualization skills.
  • Proven ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
