As a Technical Program Manager, you will leverage your proficient program management and technical expertise to drive strategic product initiatives and accelerate business outcomes. You will lead the end-to-end execution of complex technical programs, collaborating closely with product leaders, engineering teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to shape product strategy, secure alignment, and deliver measurable impact.

You will initiate, plan, manage, and control the product development lifecycle, ensuring delivery of program goals and outcomes. Throughout this journey, you will operate as a servant-leader, coach, and enabler, adapting your leadership style to meet the evolving needs of the team and organization.

As a change agent, you will foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. You will lead by example, enhancing team effectiveness and efficiency through agile methodologies, structured planning, and proactive risk management. Your success will be driven by strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and a deep understanding of Agile development, execution frameworks, and change management practices

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Program Planning & Execution: Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical programs and product initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.
  2. Risk & Dependency Management: Drive rigorous planning and prioritization practices. Proactively identify and mitigate risks, issues, and cross-functional dependencies that could impact scope, timelines, or quality.
  3. Cadence & Governance: Facilitate regular program cadences across engineering, product, and business teams to review progress, resolve blockers, and maintain momentum. Ensure visibility through well-maintained backlogs and governance dashboards.
  4. Agility & Performance Metrics: Define and optimize agility metrics—such as velocity, predictability, and persistency—to improve planning, prioritization, release management, workforce allocation, and stakeholder reporting.
  5. Strategic Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, offering insights and recommendations on program strategy, execution health, and risk posture.
  6. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Facilitate alignment on program goals, priorities, and execution plans. Communicate effectively across technical and executive audiences.
  7. Change Enablement & Team Empowerment: Lead change adoption across teams. Foster self-organizing, adaptive, and high-performing teams that respond effectively to shifting priorities and deliver consistently during sprints.
  8. Problem Solving & Technical Leadership: Apply critical thinking and structured problem-solving to navigate technical complexity and drive transformation into dynamic business and technology environments

Required Skills & Qualifications

 

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (BE/B-Tech) and master’s in business administration (MBA) is an added advantage.
  2. Experience: 10+ years of professional experience, including at least 3 years as a Technical Program Manager or Program Manager in a product-driven organization operating in Agile environments. Good to have development background of minimum 2 years.
  3. Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of modern software architecture including Cloud platforms, SaaS products, Microservices, and distributed DevOps systems, along with engineering best practices.
  4. Agile Engineering Practices: Familiarity with Agile engineering techniques such as User Stories, Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration/Deployment (CI/CD), and Automation practices.
  5. Leadership & Delivery: Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical programs with strategic impact, demonstrating strong leadership, stakeholder management, and consistent delivery in fast-paced product development settings.
  6. Certifications: Holds one or more of the following: PgMP, SAFe, CSM/PSM, or PMP.
  7. Program & Agile Expertise: Deep understanding of PMI Program Management principles and Agile methodologies, with hands-on experience in Agile ways of working (WoW).
  8. Scrum Framework Proficiency: Good working knowledge of Scrum practices including ceremonies, artifacts, and team facilitation techniques.
  9. Tool Mastery: Proficient in Agile project management tools, preferably Azure DevOps, with experience in backlog management, sprint planning, and release tracking.
  10. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior leadership and technical teams

  1. Self-starter and have analytical, problem-solving skills to drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program management processes, methodologies, and tools.
  2. Able to nurture robust working relationships with the team, peers, and customers, scheduling flexibility required.
  3. Experience in managing product development and innovation engagements, supporting high visibility support, bug fixing, tech debt reduction strategies.
  4. Excellent status and business reporting skills.
  5. Good understanding on leveraging the quality, flow, and value-based metrics to accelerate benefit realization
