Role overview:
We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to take a hands-on ownership role across our cloud infrastructure and developer platform.
You will run our Kubernetes workloads on AWS EKS, modernize our CI/CD on Azure DevOps (ADO)/GitHub Actions, build infrastructure with Terraform or Pulumi, and shape the golden paths that every Aurigo engineer uses to ship.
You should be equally comfortable authoring a reusable GitHub Actions workflow, writing the Terraform behind a new environment, debugging a failing deployment on EKS, and defining the SLOs that keep the platform reliable. You like solving problems for other engineers, not just for one team.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Strong expertise in AWS services, Amazon EKS/Kubernetes, Docker, and container platform operations.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Pulumi.
- Good understanding of Internal Developer Platforms (IDP), networking fundamentals, ingress, load balancing, and service mesh technologies.
- Experience with security, secrets management, IAM, vulnerability scanning, and cloud governance best practices.
- Proficiency in monitoring, observability, incident management, disaster recovery, and driving platform reliability.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell), excellent documentation abilities, and a B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech degree.
