Description:

We are looking for smart engineers to join our Product Engineering team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate should be excellent at writing test specs and test cases. The Sr. SDET should know how to prioritize test runs, measure performance, and automate test cases. The work environment is completely Agile, highly collaborative, and fast-paced. Prior experience in having worked in software as a service (SaaS) model or product-based companies is an absolute plus. Primary

Responsibilities:

• Analyze functional specifications and resolve gaps with product team

• Create test specifications and work with Quality Engineers for correctness on scenarios, test data etc.

• Write, maintain and execute automation scripts

• Manage defects and bugs effectively

• Work closely with Software Developers and other Quality Engineers in small scrum teams to deliver the highest quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner

• Ownership of the quality of the modules you are assigned

• Mentor and guide team members for better efficiency

Requirements:

• B.E / B.Tech Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.

• 5 to 8 years of experience of working with web applications or mobile products

• Knowledge & experience in Java/.NET 3.5 / 4.0 and C# would be a plus

• API Testing using Rest Assured

• Experience in automated test tools like Selenium and QTP etc.

• Experience in scripting or a high-level programming language

• Experience in troubleshooting automation script issues and tuning them for performance and reliability

• Experience in automation plans, execution and metrics

• Knowledge and understanding of automation for mobile apps a big plus

• Aptitude to analyze, question and innovate

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
