Description:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a UX strategy that aligns with the organization's vision, emphasizing iterative and empirical approaches
• Embrace and apply design thinking, focusing on user-centric paradigms as a fundamental aspect of work, with an emphasis on futuristic and scalable design ethics
• Act as a UX evangelist, promoting the future of planned design to all employees and customers
• Conduct customer engagements to understand end-user and sponsor perspectives, ensuring their needs are effectively met
• Implement usability best practices with defined metrics
• Collaborate with developers for ideation, prototyping, designing, and implementing new product features/functionality
• Organize workshops or boot camps to gather feedback and suggestions from internal stakeholders
• Conduct regular design sprints with measurable outcomes
• Plan and execute primary user research methods
• Regularly report on usability metrics and document improvements from UX iterations
• Present product design ideas to cross-functional teams and senior leadership
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to understand technical complexities
• Identify new problem areas and propose innovative product improvement opportunities to leadership.
• Act as a thought partner to the product team, identifying future opportunities

Requirements:

Hard Skills:

• Proficiency in designing web/mobile apps through extensive research and collaboration with Product Engineering teams
• Strong knowledge of mobile/web-app-based information architecture, design, usability principles, and techniques
• Extensive understanding of heuristic principles, implementation, and usability testing methods
• Expertise in human-computer interaction (HCI), Visual Design, and Interaction Design
• Experience in using data-driven decisions/analytics for UX design
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, InDesign, Zeplin, Miro, Illustrator
