Senior Manager – Legal & Contracts

Role Overview
Aurigo is strengthening its legal and contracting leadership to support complex enterprise and government customers in the US. This role is responsible for end-to-end ownership of customer contracting and negotiations, with particular depth in US federal and public-sector engagements.
This is a senior, hands-on player-coach role combining legal expertise, commercial judgment, and negotiation leadership. The role carries significant ownership and negotiation autonomy and is central to enabling Aurigo’s federal and enterprise business at scale.

This role will lead and scale Aurigo’s federal and enterprise contracting function.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
• Lead negotiations for US federal, state, and enterprise customer contracts
• Own MSAs, SOWs, amendments, renewals, and non-standard deal structures
• Build scalable contract frameworks across public sector and enterprise customers
• Ensure contracts are commercially balanced and aligned to deal complexity
• Partner with Sales, Finance, and GTM leadership to support efficient deal execution
• Provide guidance that balances business goals and risk management
• Mentor team members and establish negotiation playbooks
• Manage external counsel for specialized matters
Experience & Profile
Required
• 10+ years in enterprise software contracting
• Hands-on experience negotiating US federal and/or state government contracts
• Strong knowledge of SaaS agreements, public-sector procurement, and US contract law
• Ability to independently lead complex negotiations
Preferred
• In-house legal experience in a government-facing or enterprise software company
• Experience building scalable contracting frameworks
• Strong commercial judgment and stakeholder management skills
Education
• Bachelor’s degree required; JD or advanced legal education preferred
• Strong grounding in US contract law
• Active bar membership not required
