Senior Director - Product

Date: Apr 3, 2026

Location: IN

Company: Aurigo Software Technologies

Description:

We are looking for a Senior Director of Product to be a founding force in how Aurigo thinks, builds, and evolves its products. This is not a delivery management role. It is a product leadership role for someone who can shape strategy, build teams capable of executing that strategy, and ensure that every product decision made across the organization reflects a coherent, customer-obsessed, and commercially grounded point of view.  As Aurigo scales across multiple products and enters new markets in government, commercial, and AI-driven segments, the product organization needs a senior leader who can hold the strategic thread across all product lines, develop the next generation of product managers and directors, and work at the intersection of market strategy, customer insight, and organizational design. This role reports to the VP of Products and works directly with the CEO, CTO, and the broader leadership team.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Own the coherence of Aurigo's product strategy across all product lines, ensuring that decisions made by individual Directors and PMs add up to a unified platform story and not a collection of disconnected features.
  • Translate Aurigo's business strategy, market expansion goals, and competitive positioning into a product organization structure and roadmap priorities that can be executed.
  • Build the product team by identifying capability gaps, recruiting the right talent at Director and Sr PM levels, and designing the team structure that supports the company's growth targets.
  • Develop and coach Director-level product leaders to operate with strategic independence, customer-facing confidence, and delivery accountability.
  • Serve as the product organization's primary interface with the CEO and CTO on strategic priorities, investment decisions, and market positioning.
  • Drive the product planning process including annual roadmap reviews, quarterly prioritisation, and the frameworks that allow the team to make consistent and well-reasoned tradeoffs under pressure.
  • Ensure Aurigo's AI strategy is reflected in the product roadmap across all product lines and not siloed within a single team.
  • Represent the product organization in customer engagements, partner discussions, and investor conversations where product strategy is on the table.
  • Create the environment and operating model in which strong product managers can do their best work, with clear context, decision rights, and feedback loops between market, customer, and engineering.

Soft Skills

  • Exceptional strategic thinking. Can see the long arc of a product and market and translate it into decisions that matter today.
  • Leadership presence that earns respect from engineers, sales leaders, customers, and executives, not through title but through the quality of thinking.
  • Ability to develop talent by identifying what people need to grow, creating those conditions, and holding the standard.
  • Comfortable being the voice of product strategy in rooms with the CEO, investors, and enterprise customers.
  • Intellectually honest and willing to challenge assumptions, including their own, when the evidence calls for it.

Hard Skills

  • Track record of building and scaling B2B SaaS product organizations through periods of significant growth or market expansion.
  • Deep experience in product strategy including market sizing, competitive positioning, build versus buy decisions, and platform versus product tradeoffs.
  • Experience designing product team structures and operating models that scale.
  • Strong command of product discovery methods, roadmap planning, and go-to-market alignment.
  • Familiarity with AI-native product development and the strategic implications of foundation models and agent-based systems in enterprise software.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. MBA from a premium institution strongly preferred.
  • 18 or more years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple product lines or Directors.
  • Proven track record of defining and executing product strategy in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
  • Experience building or significantly scaling a product organization and not just managing within one.
  • Background in enterprise software for government, infrastructure, construction, or capital-intensive commercial markets is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to represent product strategy externally with customers, investors, and partners.

Technical Skills

  • Fluency with product strategy and planning tools.
  • Understanding of enterprise SaaS platform architecture, API ecosystems, and integration strategy.
  • Ability to engage credibly in technical discussions with engineering leadership without needing to be in the code.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning product strategy, particularly the data, model, and agent layers that differentiate AI-native platforms.
