Director - Product Marketing
Date: Apr 8, 2026
Location: IN
Company: Aurigo Software Technologies
Description:
We are looking for a Director of Product Marketing to build and lead Aurigo's product marketing function. This is a foundational hire, you will be the first dedicated product marketing leader at Aurigo, responsible for building the team, establishing the function, and owning the narrative that connects our products to the buyers who need them. You will work directly with the broader leadership team to develop and own the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy across all of Aurigo's products and buyer segments, government agencies, commercial capital owners, and the AI platform story that cuts across both. This role reports to the VP of Products and is a direct input to the company's revenue growth and competitive positioning.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Own Aurigo's product marketing strategy across all products and buyer segments, government, commercial, and AI platform, ensuring a coherent, differentiated, and commercially grounded narrative in the market.
- Build and lead the product marketing team across buyer segments and functions. Recruit, develop, and hold the quality bar for the team you build.
- Define and own the company's overall positioning and messaging framework, the foundational document that all downstream content, sales plays, and go-to-market programs are built on.
- Partner with the AI platform team to develop the AI platform narrative, translating the technical depth of the foundation model and agent framework into buyer-facing value propositions that resonate with capital program owners.
- Work closely with the product management team to stay current on product strategy, roadmap, and differentiation, and to ensure that messaging reflects what is being built and shipped.
- Own product launch readiness across all products and segments, coordinating the product marketing team, enabling the sales team, and ensuring every launch has a complete go-to-market plan before it goes live.
- Build and maintain the competitive intelligence program, including oversight of battlecards, win-loss analysis, and competitive positioning across all segments.
- Partner with the sales leadership team to ensure sellers have the messaging, tools, and segment-specific content they need to win. Own the feedback loop from the field back to the product marketing team.
- Own the product enablement function in partnership with the enablement team, ensuring channel partners, co-sell partners, and internal sellers are equipped with the content and tools they need to close.
- Represent product marketing in leadership reviews and customer advisory engagements where the company narrative and competitive positioning are on the table.
Soft Skills
- Exceptional strategic storytelling. Can distill complex product and platform capabilities into buyer narratives that are credible, differentiated, and commercially compelling.
- Strong leadership presence. Can earn credibility with senior leadership, the sales team, and enterprise customers, and develop a product marketing team that produces work of consistently high quality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication. Sets the standard for clarity, precision, and impact across all content the team produces.
- Deeply collaborative. Works effectively across product, sales, customer success, and executive leadership without creating friction or ownership confusion.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building from scratch. This is a function being built, not inherited.
Hard Skills
- Proven track record of building or significantly scaling a product marketing function in a B2B SaaS or enterprise software company.
- Deep experience developing positioning and messaging frameworks for complex enterprise products sold into multiple buyer segments.
- Experience leading product launches end to end, from strategy and positioning through sales enablement and field execution.
- Strong command of competitive intelligence practices, win-loss analysis, battlecard development, and competitive positioning at scale.
- Experience managing and developing a team of product marketers across different verticals or buyer segments.
Requirements:
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. MBA from a top institution strongly preferred.
Prior Experience
- 12 or more years of experience in product marketing, with at least 3 to 4 years in a senior leadership role in B2B SaaS or enterprise software.
- Proven experience building or leading a product marketing team, not just contributing to one.
- Demonstrated track record of owning company-level positioning and messaging that directly contributed to revenue outcomes.
- Experience in enterprise software for government, infrastructure, construction, or capital-intensive commercial markets is a strong advantage.
- Exposure to North American markets and enterprise sales cycles is strongly preferred.
Technical Skills
- Familiarity with enterprise SaaS product portfolio structures, pricing and packaging concepts, and platform-level go-to-market motions.
- Ability to develop fluency in AI platform narratives and translate technical AI capabilities into buyer-facing value propositions.
- Proficiency with sales enablement platforms, content management systems, and CRM tools.
- Comfort using AI tools to accelerate content production, competitive research, and messaging iteration at scale.
- Understanding of account-based marketing, partner co-sell motions, and SI channel enablement as go-to-market levers.
